After recently researching and purchasing the Bee and trying it out for the last two months with my son, I had to write my own Bugaboo stroller review to share with you what I think about it. I really spent a lot of time researching this stroller and reading through other reviews online before I wrote about it. It turned out to be an amazing choice. The stroller has truly exceeded my expectations, and I wanted to take a few minutes to tell others about it.
Easy Setup
Before I decided buy the Bee and write my own Bugaboo stroller review, I actually owned a Graco that we had used for the first six months of my son’s life. It certainly did the job of getting my baby around when we were out, but it was such a huge beast of a thing that it was actually quite cumbersome. It took up half the space in the trunk of my SUV when folded, and it took quite a bit of muscle to get it in and out of the trunk and to set it up and fold it down. The Bee, on the other hand, weighs maybe 15 pounds or so, which makes it lighter than my son is now at the age of 8 months. It’s lightweight, it folds up to a much more compact size, and it folds and unfolds much more easily and without the hassles of the Graco.
Seating
I also have to talk for a few minutes about the seating differences between my old stroller and the Bee in my Bugaboo stroller review. The Graco had a reclining, forward-facing seat and a lap belt. This was functional, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Bee. The Bee has the ability to face the seat forward or backward as well as has an adjustable backrest and a five-point harness that is so easy to use that you can almost do it one-handed. I feel far more secure in knowing that my son is safely strapped in, and I enjoy the ability to have him turned around and facing me when he’s trying to nap, when he’s eating his snacks, and more, too.
A Variety Of Colors
They have many colors to choose from to brighten up any day. Here are some of them along with some recommended optional accessories:
The Price
I can understand that some parents would balk at the $700-plus price tag of the Bee. Before I knew more about it by researching for this Bugaboo stroller review, I balked at the price, too. The fact is, though, that this is an item that most parents will use almost every day. In fact, some days you use it for hours at a stretch or multiple times during the day. The stroller is suitable for kids through their toddler years, so you want to get something that you can truly enjoy using. You don’t want to be frustrated or unhappy with your choice for the next three or four years!
Other Parents’ Thoughts
Many other parents have taken the time to write their own Bugaboo stroller review after trying the stroller out themselves. When you take the time to read through a few of the different comments found online, you will find that I am not alone in thinking this is an amazing stroller. Here are some of their comments:
“This has been my exclusive stroller for my now six month old son and I couldn’t be more pleased.”
— San Diego, Amazon.com
“It’s smaller than pretty much every other comparable stroller I tried out. I love that the baby can lie flat.”
— S Hess, Amazon.com
